I have a JD 2210 w/FEL, 54” Blade, & 54 mower, that it is one year old and a great machine. However my needs have changed after a recent 3 A land purchase and a new home construction I would like to add a backhoe for minor trenching for water runoff drains in addition to trivial landscaping requirements. Kb. & NH both offer a BH for similar size machines. Is there an aftermarket BH engineered for the 2210 or should I consider trading to blue or orange or other?

There is currently on backhoe option for the 2210 through Deere or Woods. Chances are you would need to adapt something or switch colors. ....

When Kubota added a backhoe to the BX they also added 220 pounds of reinforced steel framework to the tractor to keep the backhoe from tearing the machine apart.
The BX 23 is a different machine than the BX 2230 and you cannot add the backhoe to the BX2230.
There-in lies the problem. If you are starting with a clean sheet you can design the extra strength into the machine without compromising other components such as a mid mount mower or the FEL.
When you add the necessary sub-frame for an aftermarket hoe to an existing design it gets in the way of all sorts of other functions.
